Looking after your money is a key part of making sure you have a good time on your educational travel tour. Here are some tips for traveling safely with your money.
- Don't travel with a lot of cash. Traveler's checks and credit cards are a safer option.
- Only change traveler's checks when you need money and only countersign these when you are ready to change money.
- Keep track of the numbers on traveler's checks and credit card numbers in case these are lost or stolen.
- Make sure you do not exceed your credit limit on credit cards.
- Never reveal your PIN.
- Keep spare cash, traveler's checks and credit cards in a hotel safe if it is available.
- Make a note of the phone numbers you need in case your credit cards are lost or stolen.
