Tip of the Week

Travel postcards are a good way of staying in touch with those back home. Here are some factors to consider when choosing a travel postcard.
- Does the postcard show a location you have visited? If it does, this is a good way of making sure that your friends and family have a decent photo of an important location. It is also a good backup in case your photos don't come out as well as you hope.
- Is the postcard funny? Some travel postcards show images of local animals dressed up in holiday wear or people doing amusing things. Postcards of this type might be right for friends and family with a good sense of humor.
- How much space is there to write on the back? If you don't have a lot to say, choose a postcard with a small writing space. If you want to tell all, choose a postcard with a large writing space.

As well as buying travel postcards to send to friends and family, consider getting some as mementos of your educational travel tour. This will ensure that you have good photographs of places that might be hard to capture on your camera. You can also jot down notes about what you thought of a particular location. Travel postcards could be a good addition to a journal or diary of your educational travel tour.
