Tip of the Week

The American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) is a good place to start when planning a high school travel tour. It organizes cultural exchange programs for more than 50,000 students each year. AIFS was set up in 1964. Some of the programs it offers include:
- high school visitor exchanges. These allow American students to study abroad.
- high school travel tours of up to four weeks to various locations
- educational travel for older high school students
- gap year programs for pre-college students
- camp and resort counselor programs
- au pair programs

These high school travel programs and college educational travel programs are offered through a number of subsidiary companies. These can be found on the AIFS web site.
